Kevin W. Reaves is an aspiring Outdoor/Nature Photographer. Born and raised in Georgia, he currently resides there with his wife Belinda, and their five children: Sierra, Levi, Saige, Lander, and Summer. As you may have noticed, Kevin's choice of names for his children reflect his love for the West. Although his dream home would be located somewhere in Colorado, Wyoming, or Idaho, Kevin lives in a log home on 14 acres and a 6 acre private lake outside of town. Although there are no beautiful mountains in the background, this area does allow for ample photo opportunities and is centrally located just a short drive from the mountains and the coast.
Kevin has a deep admiration for God's Creation which has sparked a passion within him to try and capture a hint of this beauty on film. Driving through the Blue Ridge Parkway and capturing the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains never bores Kevin. He can smell a cascading waterfall a mile away beckoning him to come and take a photo. Although Kevin enjoys capturing the beauty of wildlife on film, his favorite subjects usually involve landscapes, sunsets, and sights that "catch his eye" while hiking. Kevin is also an aspiring Portrait Photographer specializing in Children & Family Portraits. Kevin has completed the New York Institute of Photography School and continues to enroll in classes and workshops in hopes of improving his techniques and to better train his eye to capture those "special" moments on film. He has taken photos for various occasions at the request of family, friends and local organizations. His passion for photography began in the mid 90's and has continued to grow over the years. Kevin's dream is to one day use his photography as a means to support his family so they can spend more time together traveling around the country. Kevin is most thankful to his Lord and Savior for giving him the ability to follow his passion for capturing God's Creation, but he is also very thankful for his family and the sacrifices they make in order for him to live out that dream.
